I. overview of Chongqing

Chongqing is located in the junction of East and West China and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It covers an area of 82400 square kilometers and has a population of 30.72 million. Chongqing, as a mega city with the most investment potential in Western China, has five advantages:

II. Introduction to Chongqing high tech Zone

Chongqing high tech Zone is a national high-tech industrial development zone approved by the State Council in March 1991, and has been rated as one of the national advanced development zones for many times. Chongqing high tech Zone is located in the center of the city, with an area of 70 square kilometers and a population of about 300000. In 2005, Chongqing high tech Zone achieved a total industrial output value of 31.5 billion yuan and tax revenue of 2.9 billion yuan. as a traditional large industrial base in China, Chongqing, after decades of precipitation and accumulation, has formed a scientific research and production system represented by Silian Instrument and meter group, including a number of military industry, private enterprises and research institutes, but we should know that different experimental machines have different functions. It is one of the three major instrument and meter production, learning and research bases in China

1. Development history and status of the industry

Chongqing established early instrument enterprises in the late 1950s; In the 1960s, the third line construction, coastal instrumentation enterprises and scientific research institutes moved to Chongqing; With the reform and opening up, Chongqing Instrument and meter enterprises have strengthened cooperation with foreign countries. Chongqing high tech Zone has been focusing on the development of instruments and meters as one of the leading industries. Through nearly 10 years of efforts, a large number of companies engaged in R & D, production, sales, integration and service of instruments and meters have gathered. 2. Strengthen technological innovation and establish a sound technological innovation system.
